Entry-level courses introduce traditional methods and emerging technologies following current methodologies for the inclusion of interdisciplinary coursework and diverse programs. These courses serve as a foundation for the advancement and development of innovative visual art practice and creative problem-solving in fine arts, graphic design, animation, and digital storytelling.
The Department of Art and Design aspires to increase students to 500 and act as a leading regional art and design program that places a greater emphasis on research, scholarship and creative activities (RSCA), technology and collaboration. It provides students with the tools necessary for innovation in Fine Arts, Design, Animation, and Digital and Visual Storytelling, providing students with a visual language to communicate ideas.
