The Dental College of Georgia is the state’s sole dental college providing education and training for more than 300 dental students and approximately 60 residents per year.
The Doctor of Dental Medicine program will educate you to become a licensed and competent general practitioner prepared to offer quality dental care and treatment to a diverse patient population.
The Advanced Education programs are designed to provide you with a superior level of clinical skill and in-depth knowledge of the biological and clinical sciences that apply to the area.
The Graduate Program and the Oral Biology program of the Dental College offer a Oral Biology & Maxillofacial Pathology Dual Degree. The combined MS/DMD and PhD/DMD programs require admission to the Dental College of Georgia as a dental student. At the end of the second year of dental school, the student begins a course of study working toward the graduate degree requirements. The student then re-enters the dental school to complete the DMD degree requirements.
The Concurrent DMD-MBA Degree Program allows students to be dually enrolled in both DMD and MBA courses simultaneously. Developed through a partnership between the Dental College of Georgia and The Hull College of Business, our mission is to foster future leaders in dentistry who are skilled in the practices of dentistry and business management. Students must complete at least two semesters of the DMD program before enrolling into concurrent MBA coursework.
