We offer private lessons for most instruments and voice types, various large and small ensembles for children and adults, and summer music camps. Our teachers include faculty members of the Augusta University Music Department as well as other highly qualified local professional musicians. The Augusta University Summer Music Camp is for rising 6th – 12th graders who have at least one year of experience. Augusta University will be hosting a Music Camp for middle and high school band, choir and orchestra students. Students will spend time each day rehearsing with their major ensemble (band, choir or orchestra) and will also participate in various electives including jazz band, beginning piano, musical theatre, ukulele, composition, and more!
The Augusta University Conservatory Program offers private instruction in all the standard performance areas. We offer instruction in piano, organ, voice, strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion. Lessons take place once a week on a day and time mutually agreed upon between the instructor and student. Students can register for a minimum of 15 lessons each semester. Offering lessons in the fall, spring and summer semesters. We do accept new students mid-semester.
All lessons take place in the Fine Arts Center on the Summerville Campus at Augusta University and our taught by outstanding instructors. Our instructors include faculty members at Augusta University as well as other professional musicians in the community. At the end of each semester we have a student recital at the Grover C. Maxwell Performing Arts Center where students can perform the repertoire they have been working on.
