The Division of Institutional Effectiveness (IE) serves as the institutional clearinghouse for scheduling surveys of our constituents. The division is responsible for the coordination of efforts to survey the institutional community, to prioritize survey needs, and to increase the potential for statistically valid response rates.

Beginning College Survey of Student Engagement "BCSSE"
An annual national survey administered by Indiana University to incoming freshmen to measure expectations of student engagement.

National Survey of Student Engagement "NSSE"
Annual, national survey administered by Indiana University to hundreds of four-year institutions assessing freshmen and senior student engagement.
