Anyone who believes a Title IX violation has occurred can file a complaint with the school's Title IX office. Reports can be made anonymously or made on behalf of another person. However, please be advised, without contact information, we are unable to provide follow-up, and the University's options for response may be limited. Please fill out our report online.
Augusta University takes all incidents of sexual misconduct seriously. If you or someone you know has experienced an incident of sexual misconduct, you are strongly encouraged to report it immediately.
Any student or third party to the University is strongly encouraged to report a complaint of or information regarding sexual misconduct where the victim or accused is a student, campus visitor, or employee of AU.
Responsible employees must report a complaint of or information regarding sexual misconduct where the victim or accused is a student, campus visitor, or employee of Augusta University. Responsible employees include any administrator, supervisor, faculty member, or other person in a position of authority who is not a privileged (confidential) employee. Student employees who serve in a supervisory, advisory, or managerial role are in a position of authority for purposes of the Sexual Misconduct Policy (e.g., teaching assistants, residential assistants, student managers, orientation leaders, etc.).
A complaint may also be made by emailing or calling the Title IX Coordinator or in person as soon as reasonably possible.
Complaints of sexual misconduct can be made to the Augusta University Police Department 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
