Amrita Jariwala
My name is Amrita Jariwala. I am excited to join as the first fellow in Primary Care Rural Health Fellowship. After completing my medical school and Anesthesiology residency in 2009 from Government Medical College, Bhavnagar India, I worked in the field of Anesthesia and Critical Care for 8-9 years.
I joined Medical College of Georgia, Augusta as a Fellow in Critical Care Anesthesiology in July 2023. My career in anesthesiology has equipped me with a meticulous approach to patient safety and procedural expertise. Transitioning to family medicine, I am eager to apply this background to deliver holistic care that addresses not only immediate health concerns but also promotes long-term wellness and preventive medicine. My goal is to collaborate closely with patients and their families, empowering them to make informed health decisions and achieve optimal well-being. Beyond medicine, I enjoy spending time with my two boys 8 and 6, travelling, hiking, and painting. I am thrilled to join the Family Medicine team and embark on this new journey to learn and contribute to our shared mission of providing compassionate, comprehensive care to our community.
