Class Discussion with D2L Forums

Think About How You Would Continue Class Discussion in the Event of a Disruption (Real-time or Asynchronous)

Chrome and FireFox are recommended.

Asynchronous – D2L Discussion Forum

  1. Navigate to Discussions. (Ref. images.)
  2. Click the New button, and select the New Forum
    NOTE: Each discussion forum can contain multiple discussion topics (a.k.a., “threads”) within it.
  3. Enter a title for the new discussion forum, and configure it settings.
  4. Click the Save and Close Your new discussion forum (and its topics) will now display on your course Discussions page.
