Purpose of this ApplicationThe College of Education and Human Development at Augusta University is hiring TA for 2024 Kids University on June 3 – June 28, 2024. This youth summer program will be hosted in the University Hall of Augusta University. The TA pay is $10 per hour (up to $450 per week).Applicant Qualification
  • Must be 18 years old and allowed to work in the U.S.
  • Must pass HR national/international background checks.
  • Must have a passion for education.
  • Must commit to quality service.
  • Non-AU students must be recommended by Kids University instructors or administrators.

Responsibility
  • Assist Kids University instructors in delivering daily activities and lessons.
  • Supervise children during activities, meals, transition, and throughout the camp.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Help children with tasks such as cleaning up activity areas.
  • Provide individual attention and support to children who need it.
Declaration
 
Kids University is a self-funded program and does not receive funding from the university. Thus, the employment of TAs at Kids University is not guaranteed. We plan to accept 10 TA applications in the first round (first come, first served). Based on enrollment, we will then make adjustments. If enrollment is low, we won’t be able to run the program or have to cut accepted applications. If enrollment is high, we will consider applications that are not accepted in the first round.

January 15, 2024: Instructor Notification of Acceptance 
February 15, 2024: Full Lessons Submission  
March 15, 2024: Registration Opens (Until Full)
