Obtained Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with minor in Spanish from Louisiana State University in 2009. Graduated with MD degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in 2013. Completed 3 of 5 years of General Surgery residency and 2 years of clinical research through the NIH between 2013-2018. Completed University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Preventive Medicine residency between 2019-2021. Completed Addiction Medicine Fellowship through MCG from 2021-2022.
