Advancing Otolaryngology
Thank you for your interest in supporting the clinical, research and educational missions
of the Department of Otolaryngology.
There are five major funds supporting the Department, each with its own purpose, as follows:

PORUBSKY RESIDENT EDUCATION FUND

Supports the academic enrichment of the residents, fellows, medical students and other
scholars in the Department of Otolaryngology, including educational materials, research
projects, travel to scholarly meetings, and acquisition of surgical instruments.

OTOLOGY FUND
- Supports the academic enrichment of the residents, fellows, medical students and other
scholars in Otology/Neurotology, including educational materials, research projects,
travel to scholarly meetings, and acquisition of surgical instruments.

LARYNGOLOGY FUND
- Supports the academic enrichment of the residents, fellows, medical students and other
scholars in Laryngology, including educational materials, research projects, and travel
to scholarly meetings.

SKULL BASE ACADEMIC FUND
- Supports research in skull base in cadavers in anatomic studies, academic enrichment
of residents, fellows, medical students and other scholars in the Department of Otolaryngology.
Typical expenditures might include (but are not limited to) investment in research
related projects, educational meetings, and travel to scholarly meetings.

OTOLARYNGOLOGY - HEAD & NECK SURGERY FUND
- Supports the department’s general expenses, including the biannual newsletter, the
OTO OBSERVER, and the annual resident graduation.
