About the Fellowship in Hereditary Cancer
Candidate Profile & Fellowship Components
The fellowship is offered to individuals with an MD or DO who have the following characteristics:
- BE/ BC and eligible to practice in Georgia.
- Typically, the candidates will be anticipating a career in medical oncology after
completing an Internal Medicine residency.
- Proven interest in genetics
Fellowship Components
- Practice- based learning with supported personal practice in the HCC
- Preparation of weekly genetics case conference
- Completion of City of Hope Intensive Course in Genomic Cancer Risk Assessment Practice
- Non- ACGME accredited.
- Instructor appointment, Medical College of Georgia
- Salary based on Instructor level
- 1.0 FTE
