I chose AU because the faulty are very welcoming ,supportive and accommodating .The  diverse and robust training experiences offered by the program is certainly a Plus. 

Additionally  getting to experience a slower paced suburban lifestyle after years of “big city “ exposure is a refreshing change .

Why AU?

I chose the Post Pediatric Portal Program at Augusta University because it allowed me, as a general pediatrician, to become a child psychiatrist in three years. Also, the attendings are knowledgeable, approachable, and are invested in the success of the fellows.

Why AU?

After my interview at AU, I kept remembering the welcoming, approachable nature of the faculty. That feeling paired with the ample learning opportunities, a diverse patient population and passionate colleagues is why I chose AU. Additionally , I am close to my family and have the opportunity to explore the ever growing city of Augusta while having neighboring cities that are a quick drive away!
