Major Administrative Divisions develop and commit to a set of goals, tactics, and measures that align with Augusta University's strategic plan as a part of the integrated planning process. Strategic Alignment Plans provide a framework upon which Divisions share their achievements and challenges at the annual Planning and Resource Alignment Hearings.
Augusta University’s 2022-2027 strategic plan focuses on five strategic priorities of learning, discovery, student success, community and stewardship as well as three interwoven priorities of innovation; engagement; and belonging. Each strategic priority includes distinguishing objectives and strategic actions aimed at achieving Augusta University’s three aspirational imperatives.
This strategic plan empowers, informs, and impacts the work of the University System of Georgia’s 26 diverse institutions and affiliated entities to elevate their unique missions. The implementation of this plan across sectors and institutions will be distinct to the communities they serve but will align to the goals and metrics of the system.
