Getting involved at Augusta University has never been easier! There are multiple opportunities across campus that immerse students into real life experiences that grow necessary leadership skills and abilities.
Student Life & Engagement (SLE) is committed to providing innovative programs to help students get involved on campus. We aim to give Jaguars opportunities to develop leadership skills and pursue their interests through experiential learning.
Our team supports over 100 student organizations, an engaged Greek Community, and advises the Jaguar Production Crew, Homecoming Executive Council, and the Student Government Association. Our office diligently works to provide high level leadership programming and the facilitation of growing student leaders through the Jaguar Leaders program. This office also works closely with other university departments to give our new and transferring students a fresh look at Augusta University through Jaguar Student Orientation.
Our mission is to engage students, provide purposeful opportunities that enhance the academic experience and foster personal growth in an environment that demonstrates the university's core values.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT
The Student Government Associate actively works to improve the quality of life for the Student Body, along with the university and community as a whole.
Augusta University Campus Recreation provides opportunities for Augusta University students, faculty, and staff to participate in physical activities that include Intramural and Club Sports, the Wellness Center, Outdoor Recreation, and Jags Choose Wellness.
Housing & Residence Life manages on-campus housing for over 1200 residents. For the resident who lives on campus, we offer a variety of living environments in both single and double occupancy rooms, studio, and apartment living.
Our mission is to provide quality basic health and preventive services to the students of Augusta University. Through these services we aim to assist each student in maintaining their maximum physical and emotional health, so that every student will realize to their fullest the educational opportunities afforded by Augusta U.
Our highly trained and experienced staff is available to assist students with a variety of personal, developmental, and mental health concerns. We provide consultation, individual, couples, and group therapy, same-day walk-in crisis services, psychiatric services, and a range of prevention and outreach programming.
Supplying books and course materials to our students in the most affordable way possible. New and used textbooks are available for purchase or rent. The JagStore also offers a huge selection of Augusta University and Jaguar clothing and gifts.
Located on both campuses, the dining facilities offer a variety of meal choices for faculty, staff and students.

The Maxwell Theatre, part of the Division of Enrollment and Student Affairs, is the cultural heart of the Augusta University campus, and students take center stage. The Department of Music ensembles and Theatre AUG, from the Department of Communications, provide ample performance opportunities for students. Students, faculty, staff, and community members attend a broad variety of events. The Lyceum Series presents national and international music, dance, and theatre companies. The Harry Jacobs Chamber Music Society brings a rich series of world class performers to campus.

Skills and experience obtained through membership in student organizations serve as a valuable supplement to the formal curriculum. Augusta University is home to 12 fraternities and sororities. While each chapter has their own rituals, traditions, and philanthropies, together the brotherhoods and sisterhoods strive to live by Augusta University's fraternal core values of scholarship, leadership, service, and friendship.
Acting as the voice of all students enrolled at Augusta University, the Student Government Associations (SGA) shall actively work to improve the quality of life for the Student Body, along with the university and community as a whole. Augusta University's SGA is composed of two bodies: the Undergraduate Student Government Association (USGA) and the Graduate Student Government Association (GSGA). Each body serves as a liaison between students and the administration of Augusta University.
The Civic Engagement office helps involve students in learning experiences that serve community needs through direct service and engagement opportunities. Opportunities for community service both at a distance and in-person, voter registration drives, and additional events that promote civic engagement will be available for students to participate in.
