“I asked a couple of the lawmakers why they chose state politics over federal politics, and they all said because they felt they could have a bigger impact on our citizens at the state level," said Lee Saffold, a fourth-year political science major.
For Briana Campbell, a cybersecurity major graduating from Augusta University’s School of Computer and Cyber Sciences, her experience at AU has been about strategically surrounding herself with people who can help her succeed by approaching each organization and class as a pool of knowledge and less a competition.
For the first time in school history, Augusta University passed the 10,000 student mark and celebrated the occasion. The university now has 10,546 students enrolled, a 7.5% increase over last fall's enrollment numbers.
