Augusta University’s communications team connects local, state and national media outlets with the stories of the university and academic medical center. We help the media schedule interviews and set up photo/video shoots, along with promoting research, events and other news stories. A member of the team is on-call and available 24 hours a day at 706-522-3023. Find recent news releases here.

The media can find an expert and schedule an interview through our Expert Center. Our team is happy to support your event by providing graphic design support; sharing your event with local media; and advertising your event on the university’s news site, newsletters, app and social media accounts.
However, if you need help planning or coordinating your event, review the event planning resources provided by the Office of Protocol & Special Events. Note that Communications & Marketing does not manage or organize events for other units.
