In addition to Augusta University campus-wide scholarships, students may apply to one of the scholarships reserved for Hull College of Business students. Through the generosity of alumni, faculty and friends, more than $100,000 in scholarships is awarded to Hull College students each year.

Applications are open from December 1 to February 1, unless otherwise noted. Most scholarships will require only the "Hull College of Business Scholarships" application, unless otherwise noted.
Hull/Knox Scholar
This scholarship was created through the generosity of James M. & Karen N. Hull. It is for an undergraduate student within the Hull College of Business.

Brad and Paige Usry Family
This scholarship was created through the generosity of Brad H. Usry, a 1982 alumnus, and his wife Paige Hodges Usry. Eligible applicants must be enrolled full-time pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business and must also be a current intercollegiate student athlete.
Bill Monge
This scholarship was created in honor of Bill Monge. It is for an undergraduate or graduate student who has an entrepreneurial spirit and interest in developing his/her entrepreneurial skills. Applicants must actively be pursuing a degree and have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or graduate GPA of 3.0.
William T. Maxwell
This scholarship was created in honor of William T. Maxwell. It is for a full-time undergraduate junior who has declared a business major (accounting, finance, marketing, management, MIS). This scholarship award is based on academic merit, as well as character, drive, and initiative as shown by co-curricular activities, work and community affairs, volunteer organizations, performance at workplace, etc.
Cecil R. Turner
This scholarship was created in memory of Cecil R. Turner. It is for a non-traditional, part- or full-time Hull College of Business undergraduate or graduate student. Student must have additional responsibilities outside the classroom including work, family, leadership positions, and extracurricular activities.
Hull Scholar
This scholarship was created through the generosity of James M. & Karen N. Hull. It is for an undergraduate student within the Hull College of Business.

J. Clay Flanders
This scholarship was created to honor J. Clay Flanders, retired Agency Manager with State Farm Insurance. It is awarded to a rising junior student pursuing a business administration degree in the Hull College of Business, who exhibits leadership ability as indicated by work, service, or extracurricular activities. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Charles H. D. Williamson
This scholarship was created through the generosity of Charles H. D. Williamson. It
is awarded to a finance major within the Hull College of Business.
Joseph Greene
This scholarship is for an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a business degree
in the Hull College of Business. It is in honor of Joseph Greene.
Schrameck Family Memorial
This scholarship is for an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a business degree in the Hull College of Business.
First Citizens
This scholarship is for a junior or senior undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in the Hull College of Business. Qualified applicants must have a minimum 2.75 overall GPA.
Edward B. and Estelle Patricia Berry Polite Scholarship
This scholarship was created in honor of Edward B. and Estelle Patricia Berry Polite. The recipient must be a sophomore, junior, or senior majoring in an undergraduate business degree within the Hull College of Business, with a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA in good academic standing at Augusta University. The recipient must also be enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 hours) each semester of the award period to remain eligible for the award.
J. Porter Adams
This scholarship was created to honor J. Porter Adams, III. Students who have completed experiential learning programs, such as study abroad, internships, co-op, volunteer, etc., are eligible to apply. Applicants must provide a report of their experiences for public viewing, in the form of a written report, video presentation, or other media as approved by the Dean of the Hull College of Business. The recipient must be a rising sophomore, junior or senior who has declared a business major within the Hull College of Business, with a minimum GPA of 2.75.
Harry L. Howard
This scholarship was created in honor of Harry L. Howard. It is for an undergraduate or graduate student majoring in business.
Northwestern Mutual Financial
This scholarship is for a rising senior with a 2.5 or greater GPA, pursuing an undergraduate business degree in the Hull College of Business.
E. J. Maddocks
This scholarship is available to junior or senior majoring in accounting within the College of Business, who has a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA. Applicants who have completed a minimum of three upper-level accounting courses and indicate a desire to enter public accounting and sit for the CPA exam will be given preference in recipient selection.
ADP Internship
This scholarship is for an undergraduate Hull College of Business student pursuing a business administration degree, who is planning to complete an unpaid internship during the upcoming two semesters.
Any candidate who plans to complete an internship may apply, but priority will be given to those applicants planning to complete an unpaid internship.
Qualified applicants will have requested an experience" in Handshake, to begin the internship process. Awards will be distributed the semester in which the unpaid internship is completed.
This scholarship application is open year-round and typically awarded sometime during the two weeks prior to the start of the semester or the first week of classes (Add/Drop period). Due to the tight timeline of the application, eligibility-verification, and awarding process, the award may not be deposited into the student's account before the payment deadline. Therefore, students receiving this award should secure another source of payment for all tuition and fees before the payment deadline for the semester so classes will not be dropped due to non-payment. Any credit left in a student's account (should the award be deposited after the payment deadline) will be available as a refund at a time designated by the Business Office. Women's Leadership Academy
The Hull College of Business Women's Leadership Academy (WLA) is a unique, annual program for career-focused undergraduate women to discover and develop their leadership skills in a positive, educational environment.
This program is designed for those who identify with the female gender, interested in entrepreneurship or business, and applicants may be pursuing any undergraduate degree at Augusta University. This experience begins with a two-day mini-conference in August, followed by monthly sessions through March of the following year with fellow participants and professional mentors.
Each participant receives a $1000 scholarship, awarded in two equal installments, Fall and Spring semesters of the upcoming academic year. Qualified applicants will have already completed BUSA 1105: Introduction to Business and Professional Skills and at least one semester at Augusta University, be in good academic standing, have a minimum of 45 earned credit hours at the date of recipient selection, and have an anticipated graduation date of Spring of the following year or later at the time of application.
To remain eligible for the scholarship award, selected participants must remain enrolled a minimum of 6 semester hours at Augusta University and continue to actively participate in the program.

Women's Leadership Academy Peer Leader
This scholarship is open to all graduates of the Hull College of Business' Women's Leadership Academy who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Augusta University. Qualified applicants will need to still have one semester left before graduating (set to graduate Fall or Spring of this coming academic year).
Recipients will attend a two-day training in late July, assist with the two-day WLA mini-conference, and serve as co-facilitators in monthly follow-up sessions with WLA participants.

ADP Study Abroad
This scholarship is for an undergraduate Hull College of Business student with a business administration major, who is participating in a Study Abroad or Study Away trip this coming year. This scholarship is generously funded by ADP.

Hull College of Business Study Abroad
Hull College of Business students enrolled in a business administration degree program who are pursuing a study abroad or study away trip may apply for this scholarship. Applicant must be a rising sophomore, junior or senior.

The ADP Undergraduate Research Grant supports research efforts of students pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree within the Hull College of Business. Through an annual grant from ADP, these funds are available for research expenses, such as conference travel or research materials, incurred by undergraduates engaged in scholarly research with a faculty mentor.

Student may receive up to $1,500 in funding (requests generally range from $250–1,000). Apply now.
The Center for Undergraduate Research and Scholarship (CURS) office offers funding assistance twice per year (Fall and Spring) in support of faculty-led undergraduate student research, scholarship, and creative activity.
Faculty and students in all academic disciplines are encouraged to submit proposals.
Funds can be used towards travel or the purchase of materials and supplies necessary for the project.

How are recipients selected for Hull College of Business scholarships?
Recipient selection is completed in two phases.

When will scholarship recipients be selected and notified?
The majority of Hull College scholarship recipients are selected in late April and notified by the end of May. Women’s Leadership Academy and Peer Leader recipients are selected and notified in June.
Study Abroad scholarship recipients are selected in late December and notified in early January.
How will I know if I’ve received a scholarship?
Recipients are notified by email, with an award letter and acceptance form that must be signed and returned for funds to be disbursed.
How and when will the awards be disbursed?
All scholarship recipients, except for Study Abroad, receive their award in the academic year following the notification of the award (if notified in May 2020, awarded in 2020-21 academic year).
Half of the amount is awarded in Fall, and half awarded in Spring, if the recipient remains eligible. Funds are deposited into the student’s AU account, to be applied directly towards tuition and fees.
Study Abroad awards are awarded in early January, with funds disbursed directly to the Study Abroad office and applied to the student’s account.
Is financial need, academic merit, or involvement in extracurricular activities/organizations considered in the selection of all HCOB scholarship recipients?
Each individual scholarship has its own eligibility criteria, so the simple answer is no, unless it is specifically stated in the eligibility criteria for that scholarship (see descriptions).
If you wish your financial need to be considered, you must complete a FAFSA.
In the Scoring Phase, these may be considered by a review committee member in determining the applicant’s score among other criteria, but not necessarily.
