Let Your Voice Be Heard
The members of the Graduate School - Graduate Student Engage (TGS- GSC) represent their academic college's programs in an advisory capacity to The Graduate School.
As a council member you will participate in dialogue and collaboration with TGS graduate students from across campuses. Advise TGS administrators on matters of interest to graduate students. Meet with university leaders on topics of interest to the group. Represent their colleges and graduate programs as TGS ambassadors. Participate in other special TGS focus groups and committees. in special projects and initiatives.

The Graduate Student Council participated in the Children’s Hospital of Georgia Month of Miracles fundraiser. Council members sold Children’s Miracle Network balloons throughout the month to raise $150. Each of the balloons sold were incorporated into the Hundred Acre Woods wall display. After the fundraiser, the Winnie the Pooh characters were donated to the Ronald McDonald House.
The Graduate Student Council held a food drive for the Open Paws Food Pantry during the month of November. This Open Paws Food Pantry provides open-door support for students in need. We collected donations through drop-off on the Health Science Campus and the Summerville Campus.
