Volunteer Services through Human Resources does not list or fill volunteer positions. All volunteer opportunities are managed and filled directly by individual departments within the organization. Volunteer Services only processes departmental requests for non-paid internships and volunteer positions. We do not assist with observerships, fellowships, or any other shadowing or learning programs. For available volunteer opportunities, internships, or specific learning programs, please contact the relevant department directly.
Volunteering opportunities also exist outside of Augusta University. The following resources can assist in locating these opportunities.
If you're looking to earn academic credit for an internship, your academic department is the best place to start. Guidelines may vary, so they will provide the necessary details. Volunteer Services supports non-paid internships, but if you're seeking a paid opportunity, we recommend reaching out to Career Services for resources to help you find the right fit.
