The career service center at Augusta University – they were lifesavers. It was like finding an oasis in the middle of a desert. Chris Smith, my career advisor there, was like this incredible mentor. He knew exactly what he was doing, guiding me through the whole process like a pro. Chris was a wizard with interviews and getting into the mindset of the job market. He helped me dive deep into the world of data science, breaking down those complex ideas and tech stuff in a way that just clicked. He was all about making sure I could talk the talk – clear, confident, making every point count. And then the big day came – interview day. I walked in there, and guess what? I nailed it. It wasn't just answering their questions; it was like telling my story, showing them not just what I knew but who I was and how pumped I was to be part of TaxSlayer.
