The purpose of the Nursing Scholars Program is to enhance the undergraduate education of Augusta University's academically talented freshmen and sophomores with proven dedication to academic excellence and scholarship who have an interest in pursuing careers as professional registered nurses.
The program's aim is to support academic excellence, active learning, and foster a culture of research and scholarship among select pre-nursing students who will matriculate into the Augusta based BSN program. The program will broaden the scope of enrichment opportunities that strengthen students individually while developing collegial leadership skills to serve in an interdisciplinary and multicultural environment.
Apply for undergraduate admission to Augusta University by the Early Action deadline of October 31 (applications become available in August of your senior year in high school.)

The purpose of the Jaguar Nursing Scholars Program is to enhance academically talented freshmen and sophomores on the UGA campus.
The program's aim is to support academic excellence, active learning, and foster a culture of research and scholarship among select UGA pre-nursing students who will receive direct admission to the BSN program (Athens Campus) on a conditional status. The program will broaden the scope of enrichment opportunities that strengthen students individually while developing collegial leadership skills to serve in an interdisciplinary and multicultural environment. Students in the program will have early and active engagement with the College of Nursing, CONAT, and the BSN program. Successful applicants will be directly admitted to the BSN program on a conditional status.
